DISCOVER YOUR CALLING
The Servite Mission Sisters’ discernment process follows a number of stages designed to help a woman prayerfully and responsibly explore her vocation.
A candidate who feels drawn to the vocation contacts the Servite Mission Sisters and begins a period of informal communication and accompaniment.
Through regular meetings, correspondence, and prayerful reflection, the candidate and the vocation coordinator explore her motivations, life circumstances, spiritual journey, and suitability for the vocation.
Discernment is a shared process. The candidate seeks to understand whether God is calling her to this way of life, while the Institute prayerfully considers whether she possesses the qualities and dispositions necessary for membership. Candidacy
Candidates who demonstrate a genuine interest and suitability may be invited to enter the Candidacy Programme, where they begin a more structured period of discernment and formation.
Following a positive period of discernment, suitable candidates may be admitted to the formal stages of formation within the Institute.
Throughout the process, emphasis is placed on prayer, spiritual growth, personal maturity, openness to God’s will, and a deeper understanding of the charism, mission, and way of life of the Servite Mission Sisters.
